The exhibition curated by Tetyana Malinovska and Yulia Nuzhyna is an ironic view of the situation in the society nowadays. “A contemporary woman frequently faces gender stereotypes: how she should look, behave or speak,” says Yana Aftanaziv, project coordinator. “The society has changed, but stereotypes are an extremely durable category in human mind.”

Project participants approached this topic in different ways, trying to draw attention to relevant women’s problems and priorities as well as to their identification in the contemporary world through a prism of irony and manifested light-heartedness.

In the Carpathians, the visitors will be able to enjoy Marry Me! exhibition until April 15.
