PERMANENT REVOLUTION EXHIBITION OPENED IN BUDAPEST WITH THE SUPPORT OF ZENKO FOUNDATION

Recently, a wide-scale exhibition of contemporary art Permanent Revolution co-organized by Zenko Foundation was opened in the Hungarian capital. This is the first presentation of Ukrainian art in European museums, as the exhibition is showcased in Ludwig Museum. The project gathers works by 37 artists and art groups, the best Ukrainian art representatives of the last 30 years.

“Integration in European cultural area is impossible without live and direct contact with it,” said Zenko Aftanaziv, the foundation’s progenitor, at the exhibition opening. “This project is an integral presentation of Ukrainian art to the European audience. Our goal is to kindle interest and continue cooperation with strong international cultural institutions and experts.”

The importance of the event was noted by Lyubov Nepop, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Hungary, who also visited the project opening. "This exhibition is only a part, a slice of multidimensional Ukrainian culture,” the diplomat said. “And I hope that after studying the exhibition you’ll be willing to learn more about Ukraine, its culture, and its present.”

The project will continue in Budapest until June 24. Now it has been included in cultural programs of Budapest Spring Festival and Budapest Art Week.
