The Cultprostir web magazine and the “Golden Ratio” auction house analyzed Ukrainian art market of the latest years. The sales of contemporary art in Ukraine have grown extensively during the last seven years. The disposition changed after the 2009 crisis, as an interest for cheaper artworks brought a contemporary artist to Ukrainian auctions. Afterward, the interest to Ukrainian contemporary art only increased. Along with famous artists, the auction sales have introduced a younger generation of artists, particularly Roman Minin, who is now one of the 10 most expensive living Ukrainian artists.
