On May 4, Kyiv will host Kyiv Art Week, a week of contemporary art, for the second time; 23 galleries from Ukraine, Germany, Georgia, Poland, and Brazil will participate. During the festival, Zenko Gallery will present works by artists from Zenko Foundation collection and other authors. The gallery, which is a commercial branch of the fund, participates in Kyiv Art Week for the second time. This time, during the contemporary art week it will exhibit works by Arsen Savadov, Viktor Sydorenko, Nazar Bilyk, Oleksiy Say, Artem Volokitin, and Françoise Oz.

Other participants include BuyArt Gallery, ArtHuss, Bereznitsky Aesthetics, Dymchuk Gallery, Shcherbeko Art Centre, and others.

One of the most interesting events of contemporary art week in Kyiv will be the project entitled Museum of Private Collections (curated by Igor Abramovich, Alexander Solovyov, and Yevgeniy Bereznitsky). The exhibition will feature unique works by David Hockney, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Alberto Giacometti, Helmut Newton, and other well-known authors.

Kyiv Art Week will last till May 7; the event is a part of Eurovision official program, which is to take place in Kyiv in the first half of May. It is worth noting that several art festivals have opened in the capital at once, all of them dedicated to this singing competition. Among them, there is a major event Kyiv Art Fort already taking place in the Kyiv fortress, and also FACE of ART.
