On June 14-18, Ivano-Frankivsk hosted PORTO franko, a festival of contemporary art rightly believed to be a major event on the Ukrainian art scene. This year, the program featured music, theatre and dance performances, film screenings, and a visual program. The festival slogan for 2017 is “Open port”, i.e. the place where creative people from different fields are invited to.

Zenko Gallery, which has been the foundation’s branch since 2016, has joined in as well and participated in the visual program. Contemporary art center in Ivano-Frankivsk (the premises of Marginesy gallery) opened an exhibition with the works of well-known Ukrainian authors representing different generations: Oleg Tistol, Marina Skugareva, Viktor Sidorenko, Vladimir Gulich, Nata Trandafir, Yaroslav Prisyazhnyuk, Taras Kovach, Synchrodogs group, etc. All works for the exhibition were provided by the gallery.

Zenko Gallery is an active participant of various festivals and fairs both in Ukraine and abroad. The latest events include Kyiv Art Week where the gallery presented the works by six Ukrainian authors and successfully sold pictures and designer jewelry by a young artist Françoise Oz.
